I cannot play as a vampire otherwise I will die from losing health every time I do something random, such as drinking a healing potion or pickpocketing someone. From the research Ive done its possible to get patches that work on the modular versions of JKs Skyrim, ETaC, and Dawn of Skyrim, albeit some of them based on older versions of the mods.
